We Won’t Ever See Android 17 Again – Explained In Detail!
What’s up everyone? Today I’ve been talking about Android 17 all day. I still feel this farewell was too much for me to handle. He was one of my favorite, no he had become my most favorite character ever in the anime franchise. I still want him to return but I don’t think that would be possible anytime soon.
Android 17 had some good fights in the Tournament of Power but lately he was getting so much screen time that many people started finding it a bit weird. Like Gohan didn’t even get 10% of the screen time Android 17 received in the whole Dragon Ball Super anime. It was like a death flag which we all knew is coming but didn’t want to believe it.
Okay so I am pretty sure that some people would be getting mad about me saying that Android 17 wouldn’t be revived or anything. Guys, you don’t know how much I like Android 17 here but we all need to face some reality. Nothing is eternal and this was a bigger blow to me than knowing Dragon Ball Super is gonna end.
Android 17 is the only fighter who ‘died’ rather than being erased. Android 17 died in the World of Void. The World of Void (無の界 Mu no Kai e) is an isolated place outside of the multiverse with literally no time or space. As the name implies, it is a void world with infinite nothingness. Android 17 literally self destructed leaving no shred of his body behind. Where do you think his soul / life would have gone?
I HIGHLY doubt he went to heaven or hell of Universe 7. They are not in the multiverse anymore. If you die, you’re the one responsible for your own death in the World of Void. Even Herms98 on twitter stated that what we saw in the latest episode, were the last words of Android 17 ever.
17's last words (since I'm sure he will never ever get revived, not ever). Another example of his longstanding love of stuff that seems human (人間臭い), which goes all the way back to him opting to drive to Goku's place instead of fly in the original series. pic.twitter.com/FXDKC3j1mw

Okay, for a minute let’s accept that he’s gone to some other world. Can the Earth Shenron actually bring him back? Does he have the power to revive someone and bring him back to Earth who actually died somewhere even out of the multiverse? I don’t think so, Earth Shenron already has so many limitations.
Now if we talk about the Super Dragon Balls. I doubt that Universe 7 would win. With Dragon Ball Super ending abruptly so soon, I think everyone know that there will be a twist in the ending. Well even if Universe 7 wins, I don’t think Android 17 will be revived if they wish for the erased universes to come back.
Android 17 dies within 5 mins of ToP ending which means whis can rewind time to get him back or grand priest can bring him back!!
