Dragon Ball Super Revealed Vegeta’s New Form’s Official Name!
Hey guys, Today I am going to talk about something else other than spoilers. Do you guys remember when we got the preview of Vegeta’s new form and everyone went crazy? Yes, we weren’t given an official name regarding that transformation. Neither did Vegeta say anything nor did anyone name it yet.
We didn’t even get any official statement from Fuji TV or the authorities as well. So people started naming the power up itself. We had many different name like, Ultra Super Saiyan Blue (USSB), Royal Super Saiyan Blue (RSSB), Migette no Blue, Super Saiyan Migette Blue, etc. It was really a crazy week.
People started using notations themselves and were having fights on reddit and facebook. In the end, the majority of the fandom settles on the ‘Migette Blue’ name for our Saiyan prince. The name is also pretty classy if you think about it. It kinda fits Vegeta. But of course… they won’t give our Vegeta such a cool name for the power up..
In the last Dragon Ball Super episode 126, an official name for the new power up / transformation of Vegeta was given out. We are calling it official as the name was stated in such a way and as Super is coming to an end, this would be the last time, a name for the power up would be given up. Also if you check the wiki, you will see the name that I am gonna mention down as well.
This happened when Vegeta was using his final finisher – The Final Explosion. After having a huge clash against God of Destruction Toppo. Vegeta finally surpassed his limits again, broke through his shell and defeated Toppo finally. After he did that, Piccolo made a statement. He called out Vegeta’s new form’s name and it is the same as it is written in the dragon ball wiki!
Piccolo named the power-up “Super Saiyan Blue and beyond that.” Clearly, the name does not flow or even seem like a fitting title but this would be remarked as the last official name for Vegeta’s power up. When fans saw this, they were pretty upset about it though.
Super Saiyan Beyond Blue and Beyond Super Saiyan Blue has become accepted among the community. Many fans seem to prefer Super Vegeta Blue because this form looks very comparable to Super Vegeta’s initial transformation. Well, Toriyama hates Vegeta so much that I think this was set up by him specially. Why Toriyama, Why!??
