Ever Since Death Note started airing many people were hooked since the first episode, from nail-biting moments to some hilarious scenes such as the ‘I will take a chip and… eat it’. Death Note was just the perfect show for an anime lover. So we here, at Anime Viz are going to show you why Death Note is one of the best anime ever!
Just to name a few:
L: The most Intelligent Detective in the whole world, a very likable personalty, eats alot of Chocolates and Cakes, doesn’t like sleeping, is good at fighting, a weirdo, and a champion at Tennis.. Like what is there not to like about him.
Light Yagami (aka Kira): a very Arrogant but Studious boy, class topper, chick magnet and almost as intelligent as L. Wants to create a world ‘cleansed of all evil’ and wants to rule it.
Misa Amane: Loves Light alot, Sexy, Cute, Beautiful, Dumb af.
Ryuk: The coolest character you will ever see, simply doesn’t give a damn about anyone.
N: A quiet character but smarter than everyone mentioned above.
A Gripping Plot
The story follows Light Yagami, a high school student who discovers a supernatural notebook from a Shinigami named Ryuk that grants its user the ability to kill anyone whose name and face he knows. The series centers around Light’s attempts to create and rule a world ‘Cleansed of evil’ as what he calls ‘the god of the new world’ using the notebook, and the efforts of a detective known as L to stop him. and all this is portrayed in just 37 episodes, what else do you what?
Ingenious and Mind Blowing Scenes
Some scenes are just so brilliant that they will literally blow your mind, from L locating Kira in just a day to L revealing his identity to Kira and still getting away with it.. Its just filled with such witty scenes that you won’t ever get bored of. This is an anime that will make you laugh in one scene and sad in another. Every Episode is filled with humor, suspense and surprises!
Short but not Simple
This is one of the shortest animes, spanning for just 37 episodes, but that is what makes it perfect. Every show must have an end, not to say that having 100s of episodes in an anime is bad but there is just something with Death Note being so short but still so heartwarming that it is just Perfect!
